Welcome to Sheffield University's Physics Society

We are a society run by physics students with the aim to provide a way for students across the year groups to meet each other and form close friendships. We do this by organising loads of fun socials throughout the year such as bar crawls, fancy dress nights, parties, a formal ball and pool tournaments. We also arrange physics related events and have a number of sports teams.

It's fast approaching the end of the year, and what a year it's been! Ed Daw's unforgettable lecture, man can that guy play! The Pokemon bar crawl was one of the best socials Physoc have done! And of course the trip to CERN!

But it's not over yet, there is still the Hicks Ball, arguably the best event of year and another social before exams planned by the new committee!
